Cradle of Filth, the pioneering black metal band, is gearing up for a massive North American tour in 2026, marking a significant milestone in their illustrious career. This highly anticipated 'Majestic in Death II' tour will see the band celebrate the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, 'Dusk... and Her Embrace'.
The tour kicks off in San Diego on September 29th, with a series of dates across the United States and Canada, culminating in a grand finale in Colorado Springs on October 28th. This extensive tour will bring the band's iconic sound to fans across the continent, offering a chance to experience their evolution over the past three decades.
One of the highlights of this tour is the support act, featuring the gothic metal band Moonspell, the progressive black metal outfit Worm, and the industrial metal group Black Satellite. Moonspell, in particular, has a long-standing relationship with Cradle of Filth, having shared stages since 1994. Fernando Ribiedo, a member of Moonspell, expressed his excitement, stating, 'We first played together in 1994 and since then we’ve sharing stages all around the globe. It’s also our return to the North America and we sure want to make it count!'
Cradle of Filth's recent musical endeavors include the release of 'The Screaming of the Valkyries' in 2025, which showcases their continued innovation and artistic growth. Moonspell, on the other hand, released their latest album, 'Far from God', in 2025, while Worm's 'Necropalace' was released in 2021. These releases demonstrate the bands' ongoing creativity and their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots.
