Construction crews are hard at work on a new perimeter fence, marking the boundaries of the upcoming Coco attraction at Pixar Pier. This follows the initial construction phase that kicked off a month ago, which primarily involved clearing the land at the back of the park. The current focus is on erecting a fence that will shield the construction site from prying eyes.
The fence, as per the permit filed by Disney in December, will stretch an impressive 727 feet in length and stand 16 feet tall, complete with a gate. To make way for this transformation, part of the sidewalk on the Disney California Adventure side of Disneyland Drive has been demolished, and shrubbery removed, leaving only trees that temporarily conceal the construction activity. The entrance to the Coco ride will be nestled between Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier.
